Every business needs a trusted legal adviser, but many business owners think they cannot afford an attorney or that it is not a worthwhile investment for them. The Matthews Law Group was founded with an entrepreneurial spirit, and our attorneys understand what goes into forming and running a business. We have the knowledge and experience to advise you on the legal issues that affect your company, but we never forget to consider your business priorities and budget when we counsel you on your options. We pride ourselves on providing value to our clients in everything we do, and our alternative flat-fee billing ensures that business owners will be able to budget for and prioritize their legal needs.
Our firm can help you during all stages of the life of your business. Starting with business entity formation, we will advise you on what form of entity bests suits your business’s needs. We recognize that business formation is not a one size fits all proposition, and we educate ourselves on the details of your operations, including consulting with your tax professionals, to determine what entity will best help you accomplish your goals and protect you from both tax and legal liability. Our attorneys do more than file a piece of paper with the state to start your company. Our fees include the cost of drafting the creation paperwork and filing it with the state, drafting the Operating Agreement or Bylaws, and counseling the client on how to limit personal liability for the operations of the business. Additionally, we will waive our registered-agent fee for serving as the company’s registered agent for the first calendar year.
